What are your Fees?

My fee for counseling is $180 per 55 minute session of individual therapy.

Do you take insurance?

I am an out of network provider and do not bill insurance. If you are hoping to use your insurance, please be sure to check your insurance policy about reimbursement. I can provide you with a superbill upon request.

How often do I need to come in for therapy?

Ideally, to begin I recommend weekly sessions. Your session time is reserved for you, sessions canceled within a 24-hour window will be charged the full session fee. Email me or use the contact page to book a free 15-minute consultation to get started.

Do you offer video sessions?

I am happy to see clients in person in my Oakland office, or virtually for any California or Oregon resident. I recommend if possible that you find a secured place where those at the home or office will not disturb you. If you would like therapy about a particular topic and you don’t feel comfortable discussing it at work or with your roommates present, we can work on how to find a time to meet that will be best for your privacy so that you can fully engage in the process of therapy. I also recommend bringing headphones, keeping your video on, and avoiding using your car for video sessions if at all possible.

Office Accessibility

My office is on Grand Ave near Perkins Street in the Adams Point neighborhood, very close to Lake Merritt. Clients often walk, bus, and BART to the office and find the location convenient to their home and/or office. Metered street parking is available for those coming via car. Our parking lot is reserved and not available for client or therapist use (only our neighbors from the neighboring lawyer’s office and residents who live in the building have dedicated spots). For the time being, I have Mondays dedicated as my day to see clients in person, all other days are via telehealth.
